Privacy policy

We do not run analytics, advertising trackers or accounts. A few third-party services load on our pages, and they have their own policies.

This policy explains how the publisher of todoasakusa.tokyo ("we") handles personal data. Effective date: 28 September 2026.

What we collect

  • Server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider records technical data for each request — IP address, browser type, the page requested, date and time — to deliver the site and keep it secure. These logs are kept for a limited period and are not used to identify you.
  • Email. If you write to info@todoasakusa.tokyo, we receive your address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply and to correct the site, and we delete correspondence when it is no longer needed.

We do not use analytics, advertising cookies, social-media pixels, newsletters or user accounts. This site itself sets no cookies.

Third parties that load on our pages

  • GetYourGuide widgets. Some pages show a live booking widget served by GetYourGuide (widget.getyourguide.com). When it loads, GetYourGuide receives your IP address and browser information and may set cookies under its own privacy policy. The widget loads only when you scroll near it.
  • Google Fonts. Our typefaces are served by Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com), which receives your IP address when your browser fetches them. See Google's privacy policy.
  • Partner links. When you click a link to GetYourGuide or Klook, you leave our site through a redirect and the platform records that you came from us. From then on the platform's own privacy policy applies (GetYourGuide, Klook — linked at the foot of every klook.com page).
  • Map data on our pages is drawn from OpenStreetMap data at build time; no map service is contacted when you view a page.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to how we use it. Since we hold almost nothing beyond emails you have sent us, the simplest route is to write to info@todoasakusa.tokyo. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date.
