What Klook does well in Asakusa
Hanayashiki. This is the headline. GetYourGuide and Viator both have Hanayashiki pages full of rickshaw and walking tours but no admission ticket. Klook sells one, and it has a dedicated Hanayashiki page written as a pre-visit guide. Infants up to four go free, as they do at the gate.
Be clear-eyed about the alternative, though. The park's own web store sells admission (¥1,600 for adults) and a one-day pass with unlimited rides (¥4,600) at exactly the gate price, and lets you cancel yourself until 23:59 the day before. A Klook ticket has to be refunded through Klook. If you already live in the Klook app and like having every Tokyo voucher in one place, Klook is convenient; if flexibility matters most, the official store is hard to beat. The sumo show. The Asakusa Sumo Club — the restaurant show with retired wrestlers, chanko hot pot and a geisha dance — has several listings on Klook, including one for its ANNEX venue with a more lavish menu. It is exactly the same show GetYourGuide sells as its top Asakusa product. So the only questions are price on your date and which refund terms you prefer:

Tokyo-wide passes and big-ticket attractions. Klook's real home turf is transport and the major ticketed sights. The 24/48/72-hour Tokyo Subway Ticket had nearly 90,000 reviews when we looked, and covers the Ginza and Toei Asakusa lines you will use to get here; see getting to Asakusa. The Samurai Ninja Museum in Nishi-Asakusa is a useful contrast. MAIKOYA's one-hour guided tour with a ninja experience sells on both platforms, and when we checked the prices were almost identical, while GetYourGuide carried more than three times as many reviews. With nothing to choose on price, pick the platform whose refund terms you prefer.

Where Klook is weaker
No Asakusa page. Klook has a Tokyo destination and a Hanayashiki page, but no Asakusa location with filters. You end up searching "Asakusa" and scrolling a Tokyo-wide list. It works when you know what you want; it is a poor way to discover what the neighborhood offers. GetYourGuide's Asakusa page, with its 500+ products and category filters, is simply better for browsing. See our GetYourGuide review.
Refunds vary. Klook sets cancellation per listing. Some tickets are strictly non-refundable, some allow free cancellation 24 hours before, some 48. Refunds take anywhere from 3 to 14 days. None of this is hidden, but you have to read it every time, whereas most Asakusa listings on GetYourGuide follow the same 24-hour rule.
Stale copy. A few Klook listings carry out-of-date details. Its Hanayashiki ticket has turned up in search results with an old admission price, and a Klook kimono widget we saw on another site still advertised a promotion that had long expired. The live checkout is what counts; trust that, not the blurb.
The Don Quijote "coupon". Klook lists a Don Quijote discount coupon, and it is free, but it is Donki's own tourist coupon, the same one LIVE JAPAN and Don Quijote give out directly. Nothing wrong with getting it via Klook; just don't think of it as a Klook deal. Note also that Japan is replacing tax-free at the till with a refund when you leave the country, which changes how the in-store discount works. Kimono and hotels
Klook lists many Asakusa kimono shops, from small studios near Kaminarimon to Kimono Miyabi, whose listing had more than 8,000 reviews when we checked. For choosing a shop by return time, price and style, use our kimono rental guide.

Trust and support
Klook was founded in Hong Kong in 2014 and is backed by venture investors including SoftBank and Goldman Sachs. It has filed to list its shares in New York; we found no confirmation that they trade yet. Its Trustpilot score was 4.5 from about 29,000 reviews at the time of our check, and the company replies to nearly every negative review. The recurring complaints are booking glitches, a final price that differs from the price first shown, and tickets that arrive late. The US App Store rating was 4.72.
In practice: screenshot the price before checkout, keep the voucher downloaded in the app, and read the cancellation line on every listing.
Bottom line
Use Klook for what it is good at: Hanayashiki if you prefer an app voucher, Tokyo passes, and the workshops where it undercuts. For browsing Asakusa as a whole, go to GetYourGuide.
